After bombarding us with posters reeking of family love and romance, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf starrer The Sky Is Pink's trailer has dropped online. The film will be premièred at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival. Since its announcement, Shonali Bose's directorial started making a lot of noise, first, this film marks the comeback of Priyanka Chopra who was last seen in Jai GangaaJal (2016), secondly Zaira Wasim who was news for announcing her exit from Bollywood features in the film and thirdly, it brings PeeCee and Farhan together onscreen after their magical pairing in Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) Hence, TSIP is one of the most anticipated movies of this year.

Talking about the trailer, the family will surely take you on an emotional yet joyful ride that makes a tug at your heartstrings. The trailer started with some cosy and mushy moments between Priyanka and Farhan. Their cute and naughty romance will surely hit the right chords. However, their love story turns into a problem as PeeCee finds out her pregnancy. After enjoying the honeymoon phase, the family hits a rough patch when they get to know about Zaira's lung cancer. In the trailer, Chopra and Akhtar are seen struggling and fighting for their daughter's health, who calls herself her parent's villain. The Sky Is Pink directed by Shonali Bose is based on My Little Epiphanies. It is a story about a 13-year-old girl who is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. She doesn’t lose hope and goes on to become the greatest speaker ever. The film is produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films, in association with S K Global and Purple Pebble Pictures. The film, which is helmed by Shonali Bose, is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
